Drama Queens open up this blog with one of the first reviews of the season!
Well guys for starters, we recently heard an amazing band The Beatroute play live at Rockville Diner and Bar, CBD Belapur. Now for some of you who don’t know about this band can go fly a kite... but those who do and those who did attend their gig on Fri 22nd July 2011 will swear by their music. Couple of originals and lots of covers is what they played in their 2 hrs power packed performance. They opened the evening with Where the Streets Have no Name and went on to play Hold Me, Thrill Me; She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5, With or Without You, Wicked Games and many more.

We thought some of their originals were very interesting too, like 9 to 5, Glow and Roll the Dice. In the midst of a crowd which was a mix of diners and party hoppers, this band kicked in the very best they could and rocked it for Rockville.
Another big highlight of the evening were the solos played by Gopal Dutta on drums and Vignesh Iyer on Lead Guitar. A nice fusion of Mozart’s Turkish March played by Eeshan on Keyboard and Gopal Dutta on drums left the listeners wanting for more.
