Rain Rain don’t go away..

Come monsoon and people of Navi Mumbai huddle inside their houses, cribbing about the roads, the muck and the plans that have gone down the drain…. Thus Drama Queens decided to spice up your monsoon with some easy tips to make it fun this time when it rains..

Barish mein Tata Sky nahi chalta, Internet down hai… so what do I do now?

1.       Plan a rain dance!
Atleast one of your friends would have a balcony/terrace (maybe you do too!). Arrange an ipod and speakers that you can keep in a dry area, pump up the music and party! Having garma garam bhaijyas or Maggie with chai after you are drenched is a heavenly feeling! Cheers to some instant fun!

2.       Trekking
Highly recommended when there is a slight drizzle. Get out and explore your neighborhood- Parsik hill, Central park - Khargar or even some waterfalls near CBD. Drama Queens would recommend adult supervision for kids. Have fun but don’t get too adventurous! Some areas could be unsafe in the rains.

3.       Mall Gazing
Some people just hate getting wet. The puddles and the muck is something they just can’t stand. For those of you who fall under this category, the place advisable to go is the mall. Sounds boring and usual you can actually turn it into fun. Avail of some monsoon discounts while shopping or stop by to play pool or bowling! Spend time at the Coffee Days or Costas of the world and observe so many different people walking by!

4.     Burn it up!
Another interesting way to cut down some calories is to put on your walking shoes and walk the length and breadth of the mall. A lot of people have been practicing this and we must admit it is really innovative.  The rain is not a dampener and you get fitter by the time the monsoons end.

5.       Water parks
Water parks can be fun too during monsoon. Plan a trip to Nishiland which is just off Panvel or Tikujiniwadi and Suraj Water Park which are near Thane and spend a whole day having fun and lazing around. Less chances of getting tanned ;)
